XWA To Relaunch in January with “Monthly Specials”
One month on from its “#SaveTheXWA” campaign, the Xtreme Wrestling Alliance is finally set and confirmed for a return.
Announced via their official Facebook and Twitter pages, the XWA broke the news yesterday that the promotion will return in the new year, but it comes exclusive to The Zine that the now independently-run XWA will return under the guise of 12 “monthly specials”, the first of which en-named XWA Lives will occur in January 2016.
Most events will apparently be themed, currently being discussed are a gimmick-matches-only show, a retooled Lord of the Ring tournament and even a recently recovered PPV set during the ’80s. The company will even look to members to submit ideas for events.
More is set to be announced over the next two months by the company and the Zine will be the first to report on it. The XWA BattleZone boards will reopen and be accepting new members from November onwards. Stick with us for further updates.
